Lakeside Youth Baseball is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization whose purpose is to promote physical activity through the sport of baseball for the youth of the greater Richmond, Virginia area.  Our goal is to encourage exercise, teamwork, self-discipline, and good sportsmanship in children between the ages of 4-16, regardless of skill level, gender, race, or religion. Our activities focus on baseball instruction, practice, and competition both within our organization and with other Babe Ruth Leagues in the area. While baseball is our main focus, equally important is our mission to instill the ideals of good sportsmanship, honesty, loyalty, courage, and respect for authority.

Lakeside Youth Baseball has been in continuous operation since 1954 under several different entity names but all commonly shortened to Lakeside Youth Baseball or LYB. We are located in the northwestern section of Henrico County near the city limits of Richmond on Club Road.

Please observe our 5 mph speed limit in the parking lot for the safety of our patrons and youth.  Please do not park in a fire lane or along Club Road leading to the complex.  Henrico County will enforce no parking and tow vehicles. We ask that when parking in the parking lots - please don't take up more space than is reasonably needed to park your vehicle.

Our concession stand accepts cash, debit, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and credit cards.

Please observe the "No Smoking" signs and refrain from vaping near the players.  There are designated smoking areas with butt collectors.

Dogs are permitted but must be on leashes and under the owner's control at all times.  You must clean up after your pet and please bring bags to collect their waste as we do not provide them.
